Personal Information You Disclose to Us
We collect personal information in multiple ways including when you voluntarily provide information directly to us, and when you use or access the Platform, such as when you register for an account, express an interest in obtaining information about the Platform, fill out any forms, participate in activities on the Platform, or otherwise when you contact us.
Additionally, you may communicate with us and/or other Users through various features, such as messaging, chat, and telephone calls generated through the Platform. We may, including through our vendors, monitor, record, transcribe, analyze, and/or retain the communications for fraud prevention, product improvement, training, and quality assurance purposes. We may use the contact details and information you provide in messages, chat, and/or telephone calls to reach out to provide you with information you have requested through the Platform. We may use automated tools to communicate with you, including tools utilizing an artificial voice or artificial intelligence (AI)-powered messaging. Please do not use the messaging, chat, or telephone call features if you do not wish to have your communications monitored, recorded, transcribed, and retained.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Platform, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:
Full name
Contact details (phone number; email address; home, business, or mailing address)

From Service Requestors: Any job or project details that you submit (including text, photos, videos, or other content)
From Service Providers: Business information (including business name, phone number, and email address), business trade license (if applicable) or other professional qualifications and credentials, business insurance information

Sensitive Information. We do not process data that would be classified as sensitive information.
Payment Data. In certain circumstances we utilize Stripe, a third-party payment provider, to process payment information (e.g., credit card information or bank account information) and other data necessary to process the payment of Fees for certain features offered to Service Providers. Information Automatically Collected
We automatically collect certain information through technology when you visit, use, or navigate the Platform in order to enhance our ability to serve you. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Platform, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Platform, and for our internal Platform analytics (including to determine which portions of the Platform are used most frequently and what our Users like/do not like).
The information we collect may include:
Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Platform and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Platform (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called "crash dumps"), and hardware settings).
Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Platform. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider, and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.

Information Collected From Other Sources
In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and services to you, and update our records, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, social media platforms, and from other third parties. This information may include mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent data (or user behavior data), Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, social media profiles, social media URLs, and custom profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion. If you interact with us on a social media platform using your social media account (e.g., Facebook or X), we receive personal information about you such as your name, email address, and gender. Any personal information that we collect from your social media account depends on your social media account's privacy settings.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Platform, including:
To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage User accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to your account, as well as keep your account in working order.
To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the User. We may process your information to process and improve services solicited through the Platform, including for quality control, internal Platform analytics, and training of artificial intelligence (AI) models.
To respond to User inquiries/offer support to Users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service, or otherwise for the purposes for which you provided it.
To send administrative information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our Platform, changes to our terms and policies, and other similar information.
To fulfill and manage your payment. We may process your information to track Fees and process billing and payment including sharing with third-party payment gateways and payment vendors in connection with the Platform.
To enable User-to-User communications. We may process your information to enable communication with another User, including providing Service Requestor contact details to compatible Service Providers.
To request feedback. We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Platform.
To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may process the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. We may, either directly or through third-party providers we engage to provide services to us, review, scan, or analyze your communications with other Users exchanged via the Platform or as otherwise described in this Policy for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research, and User support purposes. For example, as part of our fraud prevention efforts, we may scan and analyze messages to prevent fraud or improper actions. We may also scan, review or analyze messages for research and product development purposes, as well as to debug, improve, and expand product offerings. By using the Platform or engaging in off-Platform communications tracked by us, you consent that we, in our sole discretion, may, either directly or through third-parties we engage to provide services to us, review, scan, analyze, and store your communications, whether done manually or through automated means.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on to process your personal information. As such, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

We may disclose your information when we believe it appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Terms of Use, or any other legal terms governing use of the Platform, and/or to protect our rights and property and the rights and property of others.
5. WHAT IS OUR STANCE ON THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES?
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, services, resources, and/or advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us and which we do not have any control over. Accordingly, we do not make any guarantee regarding any such third parties, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such third-party websites, services, or applications. The inclusion of a link towards a third-party website, service, or application does not constitute or imply an endorsement by us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this Policy.
You acknowledge that we are providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that we are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, applications, services, or resources that may be linked to or from the Platform. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly to respond to your questions.
6. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We and our third-party vendors may use cookies, clear GIFs, pixel tags, web beacons, and/or other technologies that help us better understand User behavior, personalize preferences, perform research and analytics, and improve the Platform. These technologies, for example, may allow us to tailor the Platform to your needs, save your password in password-protected areas, track the pages you visit, help us manage Content, and compile statistics about Platform usage. Our servers are located in the United States of America. 10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
The Platform is intended for Users who are at least 18 years old, and we do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that personal information from Users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Policy.
13. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Virginia, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information. California Shine the Light Disclosure.
